The uniform is one of the methods of delivering the Scouting program. In addition to creating a sense of belonging, the uniform gives a Scout the ability to display their personal achievements.
Shirt - The official blue (Cubs) or tan (Webelos) uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves and has button-flap pockets.
Patches - World Crest Emblem, Central Florida Council Shoulder Patch, Den Number, Unit Number (unit number, 738, is provided by the pack)
Neckerchief and Slide - the official neckerchief and slide according to the scout's den
Belt - official navy-blue (Cubs) or green (Webelos) web belt with metal buckle (a scout's earned adventure loops are displayed on the belt)
Pants/Shorts/Skort - navy-blue (Cubs) or Green (Webelos) pants, with belt loops (please, no gym shorts)
The cost of the shirt, patches, neckerchief, slide, and belt is ~$95 (including taxes and shipping).
The cost of pants, shorts, or skort was not included. Official pants range in prices from $25-$35.

Hat - Official blue hat according to the scout's den
Socks—Official socks are available in three lengths: ankle, crew, and knee. Color band according to the scout's den.

Cub Scout activities are centered around earning badges that are specific to each school grade level. This badge represents a rank. Advancement refers to the progress a Cub Scout makes toward their badge of rank. All of the activities for each rank are in the Cub Scout handbooks.
